DESCRIPTION:Drive-Thru Communion Today! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClick here to join the Zoom experience\nID: 81982576515\, password: 493590 \nor call in at +1 346-248-7799 \nThis Sunday\, we will be offering Zoom Communion at 11:00 am or\nCurbside Communion also at 11:00. We will all participate together in the litany included in this email. If you join us at home\, please have your bread and cup ready.\nTHIS IS NOT A WORSHIP SERVICE.\nIf you join us at the church\, you are asked to follow these instructions:  \n\nStay in your car at all times.\nArrive a few minutes before 11. Park in a parking space leaving the ones along the sidewalk open. Face the church.\nJoin in the litany from your car.\nDrive through to receive communion as directed by the car ushers. The line will begin near the main entrance and follow along the curb.\nPastor Stephanie will be standing under the big tree near the playground. She will wear a mask and provide the driver enough pre sealed communion cups for all in the car.\nYou will then exit the parking lot on Sioux.\n\nLarissa will be there to greet kids from the curb as you drive by and Outreach will be collecting clothes.\nSunday’s Communion Litany: \nWelcome:\nAnd so we gather at the table.\nWe come from many places\,\ndiffering in age\, differing in race\,\ndiffering in orientation\, politics and even religion. \nAll: As we come together around the table\nwe discover that our differences are not something we tolerate\nbut that our differences are indeed a blessing\,\nthe more difference we bring\, the more fully we experience\nthe presence of the sacred in our midst. \nSo come\, children of God\, just as you are.\nWherever you are on this journey of life\, you are welcome here\,\nhere in this place\, here in this community\, here at this table.\nCome\, children of God\, come and remember with us. \nRemembrance:\nAll: We remember the stories that Jesus friends tell\,\nstories of bread broken and shared\, feeding a multitude\,\nstories of being gathered together\, enemy and friend\, around tables\,\nstories of unlikely guests revealing the face of the sacred. \nThey say that that\nit was on a night of both celebration and betrayal\nthat he took the bread leftover on the table\,\nblessed it and broke it;\nreminding them that it is\nin the breaking that we become whole\,\nin losing our lives that we find them\,\nin serving that we are served. \nAll: As the grain scattered becomes one in the loaf\,\nwhen we eat this bread\, we become one with one another. \nThey say that he took the cup also leftover on the table\,\npoured out and sharing\,\nremembering with them\, the life-giving breath\neven now pounding a rhythm through our veins\,\nthe breath of life from whence we come the breath that precedes and follows all that we can see \nAll: As the grapes find life in the vine\,\nwhen we drink this cup\,\nwe become at one with the source of life itself. \nBlessing:\nAnd so we pray: \nAll: Come\, holy Spirit\, come.\nBless this bread and bless this fruit of the vine.\nBless all of us in our eating and drinking that our eyes might be open\,\nthat we might recognize the risen Christ in our midst\,\nindeed in one another.\nCome\, holy Spirit\, come.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
