As you can guess\, the closer you are to the edge\, or the more time you spend there\, the easier it is to be swept over it whether it was your choice to live there or not. It is the concern of the United Methodist Church “to extend a helping hand to those in crisis so they can overcome formidable obstacles.” to quote the UM Global Ministries\nwebsite. Although we do many things to try and alleviate the danger and discomfort of these situations\, the UM Church sets aside one specific day each year to recognize the needs of those at risk. It is the Special Sunday\, January 20\, 2019\, called Human Relations Day.\nWill you support the ministry of Christ among those on the margins?
