DESCRIPTION:International Women’s Day Celebration: \nMonday\, March 8 \nOn Monday March 8\, the United Nations will be celebrating International Women’s Day with the theme of “Women in leadership” through an hour of LISTENING and PRAYER from 10:00-11:00 am.  \nWe are encouraging women to sign up for a brief 1 to 2-minute block of time to recite a poem\, say a prayer\, or tell a short story which will be followed by a time of silence. Please sign up for a slot during the hour in advance of March 8th by emailing Vicki Kaplan at onle3qnt@msn.com.  \nSign-up times are roughly 10:00\, 10:05\, 10:10\, 10:15\, 10:20\, (10:25-10:40 UMW speakers)\, 10:40\, 10:45\, 10:50\, 10:55. (All those who sign up will receive a schedule of reciters\, readers\, pray-ers.) After each person shares\, all present on the Zoom call will participate in a brief Responsive Reading – “We thank you God for this.” We look forward to honoring women’s achievements and increasing their visibility while on this most special day! \nJoin the Zoom meeting by clicking here \n
