DESCRIPTION:Pura Vida Visit with Mountain View \nSunday\, January 22\, 9:00 am\, Barker Hall \nPlease plan to join Laura Richards\, a member of the Pura Vida staff as she shares information about the mission of Pura Vida–including scholarships for students in Guatemala\, nutrition programs\, and especially construction and English language camp mission trips to Guatemala. This presentation is co-sponsored by the Mountain View Outreach Team and United Women in Faith/UMW. Currently\, UWF and individual church members sponsor two students in Guatemala by paying their annual tuition for school. Pura Vida and its donors currently sponsor 131 primary\, 184 secondary\, and 42 university students\, but there still are students waiting for sponsors. In 2022\, construction projects built six homes for families in need\, and the mission giving provided Christmas (powdered) milk for 450 families\, and provides ongoing meals to 22 students at a nutrition center in one village in Guatemala.
