He reveals the stories and prophecies of old must be fulfilled. How? By being witnesses to the past and living for a legacy of the future. See\, Moses didn’t get to see the promised land; the prophets were ignored; and the psalms were often personal songs. But Jesus is saying that these words and happenings shape how we move forward because Jesus has called them forth to be completed\, redeemed and found whole.
