Family-to-Family 2022
This will be the 48th year of Boulder County Housing & Human Services’ (HHS) Family-to-Family Holiday Program! HHS is using every opportunity to form partnerships with families by giving them the primary voice in decisions affecting their lives. Support, combined with empowerment, fosters self-sufficiency. With this in mind, HHS is asking us to support financially struggling families and individuals by making donations of gift cards to purchase gifts for their families.
The recipients of these gift cards are vulnerable families and individuals who are involved with Child Protection, Foster Care, Adolescent, and Adult Protection (elderly and disabled adults) programs and basic needs families. These are individuals and families that have the lowest income and greatest need.
Mountain View UMC donors are at the heart of this program. Donations made by check or online simplify the process. Please make checks payable to Family-to-Family.
Online donations can be made through Colorado Gives. For tax purposes, the 501(c) tax identification number is 74-2321463 (OR)
- Please donate Walmart or Target gift cards in $25 increments. These cards are most requested by clients as families can easily access food, clothing, household items, toys, etc.
- Please make sure the dollar value of the gift card is clearly marked on the card; black and permanent marker works best.
- Please fill out a Donor Form. (Forms are located near the Family-to-Family display in the Narthex or online here). Gift card donations are fully tax-deductible.
- Please put checks or gift cards into an envelope along with your Donor Form and place in box in Narthex on Sunday, Nov. 20, 27, Dec. 4 or 11. Envelopes are available near display in the Narthex.
