Advent Marketplace
Sunday, December 5th, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, Barker Hall
Our Mountain View Outreach committee is again offering non-profits, church groups, and artisans the opportunity to offer fund-raising products for the holiday season.

Register for a timeslot by visiting mtview.org/timeslots.

A wide range of gifts and goods will be available including:

  • Norwex products– Lora Fulton will have a variety of safer, healthier and more sustainable cleaning and personal care solutions.
  • Nablus Sister City Project– Will be selling Palestinian olive oil, Za’tar spices and a selection of handmade goods. Sales benefit the Boulder Nablus Sister City Project. Brenda Mehos will be on hand to help answer your inquires and interest.
  • Seeds for Change– Helps support a pastor and missionary in Angola and their gardens by purchasing seeds as stocking stuffers for your favorite gardener.  The Mountain Sky Conference has a long-term special relationship with Angola and the United Methodist Church there.  All donations for Seeds for Change will be matched by a Mountain View member.  Contact Cheryl Runyon
  • Beads for Life– Joanie Calhoun will share a wide selection of jewelry, necklaces, and beads.  All proceeds will benefit missions projects.
  • UMW Nuts and Snack Mixes– Forgot to order nuts and snack mixes?  Already ate the snacks you were planning to give at Christmas?  UMW will have a selection of nuts and snack mixes available, but shop early!  Contact Mary Jane Hall.
  • Green Elephant Table–Have valuable treasures to share?  Need just the perfect item for your table-scape?  Need a Green Elephant for the office Christmas exchange?  Look no farther than the Days for Girls (DfG) Green Elephant table.  All proceeds will be used to purchase underwear to complete menstrual hygiene kits for girls and women in developing countries.  Contact Ramona Corwin-Brown.
  • Green Earth Team Table– Will again be offering  beautiful gift bags and ribbons,  indestructible canvas grocery bags,  and a selection of consumable type gifts for the holidays.  Edibles available include cookies,  Chex mix,  honey and quiches.   If you wish to order a quiche,  Contact Mary Beth at mzmbeth@gmail.com  Two varieties:  Spinach/Swiss or Ham/cheddar.  Prices are $12.50 each.  Limited to two per family.  100% of all money raised goes to environmental projects at the church and beyond.

Finally, but definitely not least, we are blessed to have Leann Stelzer with us again this year, selling a fine variety Christmas ornaments and fabrics.

Signing up online at  mtview.org/timeslots will allow you to guarantee an opportunity to shop at your preferred time. ‘On the day’ shoppers are also most welcome!
