Circles Meet Together to Learn about Isabella Thoburn School: Tuesday, April 6, 10:00 am
The Wesley Annes and Mary Martha Circles will plan a joint meeting this month. Our speaker, Nancy Herzog, is a resident of Frasier Meadows Retirement Community and a graduate of the Isabella Thoburn College in Lucknow, India. The school’s namesake was one of the first two women missionaries to India who were supported by the foremothers of United Methodist Women. The school has grown from a one-room school with six girls in 1870, to a campus of 32 acres that once was a royal garden. We will plan to meet remotely for this gathering, but will discuss meeting in person at church in the near future. All church women and friends are invited to attend the meeting; please contact JoAnn Joselyn at 720-562-8027 for the Zoom link.
If you have Least Coin contributions for Selma Adevu’s medical school tuition, please contact Sandy Smith, JoAnn Joselyn, or Cheryl Runyon and we will collect those coins. For more information about our UMW circles, contact Betty Baal at 303-466-6805.
