Peaks Pikes Peak District’s A Day Together

Our Day Together, “Healing and Joy as We Create a New Future,” will include a presentation about the recent changes within the national organization, including the rebranding as United Women in Faith and the efforts through New Wineskins to reach out to younger women who also share our passion to help women, children, and youth around the world. There will be time for questions and answers about these changes. In addition to hearing about the new focus and goals for United Women in Faith, we plan to focus on SOUL Care—how we can feed our souls and fill up our emotional tanks? As women, we try to be all things to our loved ones and friends and still have time for a spiritual relationship with God and His Son. Our speaker, Rev. Emily Kintzel, from Niwot UMC, will be talking to us about how we need to care for our soul and take time to fill that need within us. We plan to meet together, as a unit, in Frasier Parlor to participate in the meeting.
