A Day Apart in Fort Morgan on July 15
The Peaks and Plains District of United Methodist Women will hold “A Day Apart—A Purpose-Filled Community” at Fort Morgan UMC on July 15. We will spend the morning working on kit components for the Days for Girls sanitary kits and then be led in a “Spiritual Reflection” by Rev. Kristi Firme of Ovid UMC in the afternoon. The registration fee is $10/person and copies of the registration form are on the bulletin board across the hall from the church office; registrations are due by July 5, 2017. Attendees are asked to bring items for inclusion in the sanitary kits—these include gallon Ziploc freezer bags, girls’ cotton underwear (briefs, hipsters, bikinis) size 10-14 in darker colors, washcloths and travel-size bars of soap.
