Kyle Perez

Kyle Perez came to Boulder from Elgin, Illinois. Kyle is very outgoing, kind and caring and is a most welcome addition to our outstanding church staff. Kyle and wife Caitlin Boyer originally came to Boulder to visit friends while on a road trip to the West, including Arches National Park in Utah and Death Valley, CA. 

Both Kyle and Caitlin were immediately drawn to Boulder’s outdoorsy environment and decided to move here four years ago. They enjoy hiking and organic, biointensive gardening. Both are vegan, Kyle for twelve years. You may have noticed Kyle’s car in the parking lot with its magnetic sign “personal plant-based chef – Caitlin Boyer.” Kyle and Caitlin hiked to the top of a peak in Lyons where they married on May 10, 2020.

After arriving in Boulder, Kyle took a position managing all three Alfalfa stores.

Facilities management seemed a natural fit as Kyle has always been handy, learning “how-to” from his uncles while working with them on various projects. He finds great pleasure in this type of work. Additionally, in his spare time, Kyle is a musician, having played percussion for 16 years – congas, maracas, tambourines, shakers, cow bells, etc. He occasionally performs in the Boulder area with the well-known salsa band Quemando. Coming from a family of singers, Kyle has been strongly influenced by music. Growing up with three brothers, he thrives on competitive sports – track and field, croquet, baseball, basketball, ping pong…

Kyle manages the maintenance & upkeep of Mountain View and coordinates the setups of worship services, building users, and special events.
