2021: Embody the Best Mountain View
Last year our theme for stewardship was 2020: Envision the Best Mt. View. When that was created, no one had any idea what 2020 would hold. It was a call to think about and pray about all that Mt. View UMC could be in this year. While this year of vision was set on hold for a pandemic, the church still rose to the occasion and was the best it could be in this time.
2021 will be a different year and as we move into this year we are going to be called into embodying the best Mt. View. What does that look like? We will spend October looking at all the ways we can embody, realize the best Mt. View. When a person becomes a member of the church, they promise to support it with prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. During the worship we will look at each of these topics and have opportunities to respond, to embody the best Mt. View.
Everyone will have the opportunity to complete an estimate of giving, a service inventory, a prayer pledge, and a witness covenant. How will you fulfill 2021: Embody the Best Mt. View?
