Chancel Choir is meeting in person again! Bell Choir is meeting in person again!
Love to sing? Love to ring? Both groups are meeting (safely well-distanced) in the sanctuary – chancel choir on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm, and bell choir on alternating Sunday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Both ensembles will be featured at least once during Lent, as well as on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday services. Easter will be both online and in person outdoors – how exciting to celebrate the Resurrection with real musicians playing real instruments and really singing, together, safely!
I look forward to building the music programs here at Mountain View to become vital and excellent in everything they do. High-quality music, featuring a variety of composers, celebrating our diverse heritage…excellence in all things! This leads to outstanding worship, strength in numbers, and building our program size — ultimately (among many other things), a larger community of faithful believers for the surrounding community. Please consider being a part of this mission! Join me and other musicians this Tuesday at 7:00 pm for choir practice, or our next bell choir rehearsal on Sunday March 7 at 11:00 am, OR BOTH!
