Cal-Wood Opportunities:
Youth Mini-Mission Trip: June 18 – 19
BUMMP has organized work days at Cal-Wood Education Center for repair work that needs to be done due to last year’s fire. Cal-Wood staff will guide volunteers through projects to develop erosion control barriers, reseeding grasses, planting trees, rebuilding bridges and picnic benches, rebuilding trails, and more!
Our Crossfyre youth will be heading up to Cal-Wood on Saturday, June 19. Other youth groups in our circuit are planning to participate in that work day as well.
We will enjoy a simple breakfast in the morning before carpooling to Cal-Wood as a group. Youth should pack a lunch for Saturday from home. Please let Larissa know (children@mtview.org) who plans to attend! Once we have an idea of who is coming we will decide on Friday’s activity and time.
BUMMP Volunteer Days at Cal-Wood
June 15-16 (overnight group) or (9-4 daily); June 19 (9-4). Day events are for teens and adults. Families with children younger than 13 are welcome to come to attend the overnight sessions.
