A Big Deal For Giving
Sunday, March 14 we will be celebrating UMCOR Sunday, aka One Great Hour of Sharing. In case you didn’t know, UMCOR is the mother of all charity organizations. It funds almost every outreach gesture of UMC efficiently and quickly, such as relief to wildfire areas, water damage to Texas and our missionary in Ghana.
We will gladly accept your donations throughout the month of March, not just the 14th. If you wish to make out a check to MVUMC with the memo section clearly labelled “UMCOR”. You may send it to the office or drop it off. This is not a part of the general fund.
In these days of great and many needs, UMCOR is a great use of your money.
