On Palm Sunday story we are reminded of that joyous procession of Hosannas, praising Jesus as he enters Jerusalem. This is a fundraising event where Bolder Boulder will make a donation to the church based on the number of volunteers. City of Boulder’s actions addressing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Sunday, October 30, 9:00 am, Frasier Parlor Aimee Kane, Equity Program Manager for the City of Boulder, will discuss diversity, equity and inclusion in our home community. Topics may include Boulder’s unacknowledged legacy of discrimination, police reforms, use of mental health professionals rather traditional police force when responding to nonviolent domestic disputes, progress we have made and how far we have yet to travel.

MOTUS – JustUs Sunday, October 16, 11:15 am, Sanctuary MOTUS Theater returns for another presentation in our Sanctuary. Previously we heard the harrowing monologue of an immigrant. This time we will be a JustUs Monologue: a Story from the Frontlines of the Criminal Legal System.

The Inclusivity Committee is sponsoring a presentation by Rev. Carol Forbes on the inclusion of people with varying abilities/disabilities in all aspects of the life of the church. Carol is co-chair of the Mountain-Sky Conference committee on disabilities. The committee has crafted a lay-servant class which is soon to be available to individuals and groups.
