Fall Worship: Growing Together
Last year Koinonia hour was introduced between the two worship times to give the congregation an opportunity to come together for spiritual growth, education, and fellowship. It was an idea created in the Spring of 2021 when Covid seemed to be waning, but implemented in Fall of 2021 when the infection rate was climbing again. At that time, the concern meant it was not wise to gather in Barker Hall, and Koinonia hour never got off the ground.
This summer the church has been one in worship and fellowship. The Ministry Council and staff have discussed the schedule and believe, for now, staying with one worship service will help us to reconnect/grow as we move forward. There will still be time before worship for classes, activities for children, and time for fellowship.
