Crossfyre Youth Group
Crossfyre is our dynamic youth group for grades 6–12 — a community of diverse and talented young people. It’s a welcoming space where everyone can feel at home, share their faith, and discover how God is at work in their lives.
At Crossfyre, you’ll find:
- Fellowship & Fun — a safe place to laugh, connect, and be yourself without fear of judgment.
- Faith & Growth — opportunities to explore and deepen your faith through devotions, group building, and retreats.
- Service & Outreach — ways to make a difference through projects in our community and yearly mission trip opportunities.
We generally meet on Sundays from 11:30–1:00, and most weeks we start with lunch! At times, our activities take us beyond the church building or outside our regular meeting time — be sure to check the calendar for details!
Youth Sunday School
Youth Sunday School meets (mostly) on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month during worship. Together we’ll explore faith through Bible study, current events, and prayer/devotionals that connect with our sermon themes. Classes are designed to be hands-on, visually engaging, and youth-directed — helping students connect faith with real life and what’s happening in worship.
On the Sundays we do not meet, youth are invited to worship with their families or in the youth worship space (in the balcony at the back of the sanctuary).
Summer Mission Trip
Each year, our youth embark on a mission trip to support and serve other communities. Along the way, we learn about the world around us, deepen our faith, and discover new ways God is at work. Mission trips are also a time to grow in relationship with one another — sharing experiences, building friendships, and creating lasting memories as we serve side by side.
Over the years, our youth have traveled throughout Colorado and to places farther away — including Jacksonville, FL, South Dakota, Guatemala, and most recently Tucson, AZ.
Each trip has taught us to see the issues affecting our world in new ways and reminded us that we are not so different from the communities we serve. We’ve encountered God in surprising ways and discovered that faith isn’t something fixed — it’s about growing, changing, and evolving as we follow where God leads.
And after every trip we remember that these journeys aren’t just about helping others — they change us too! sWe return home with a stronger faith, a more just perspective, and deeper friendships that last long after the trip is over.
